Always in Bloom

For the longest time, I’ve had an attraction to Peonies – you know, the gorgeous layered blossoms that only bloom in late Spring? Le sigh. They are just beyond stunning. My oldest memory of the flowers were picking them from my parents’ yard and creating lovely arrangements with them…as well as bringing ants that were hidden inside along for the ride!

When working on my branding, I knew I wanted something a little more on the feminine side and decided upon a Peony as the focal of my logo. The flower not only represents bravery and good fortune (both things that businesses and entrepreneurs need), but also beauty, riches, compassion and new beginnings! Yes, yes, yes!

I felt as though all of these meanings to the bloom clearly accented what I was creating in my business and just made sense to feature. So, in short, that’s why my site is covered in blooms!
