Tap Into Your CrEaTiViTy

I consider creativity to be one of my superpowers.

I’ve always had it and hopefully always will! I’m never bored (and really don’t understand how folks can be bored!!) – there’s always something to do! If I’m not working on a client’s project, I’m working on my own. You can often catch me designing jewelry, sewing, arranging flowers, photographing, drawing, styling, baking, organizing, gardening, reading, sending snail mail...

I lovelovelove sharing my creative passion with others and spreading the creative “wealth”.

One of my intentions for this year was to host a Creative Night with some local women (to create more community) and teach (or learn) some new art projects! I’ve hosted two so far and I’m excited to spark some creativity amongst friends and grow closer at the same time, as well as introduce friend groups to one another. Below is a picture of our group’s creations from last week’s Creative Night (mini Sculpey clay plants!) and the month prior we made our own framed collages. So fun!

If you’re feeling uninspired or don’t know where to start to ignite that creative spark, I’d suggest going on Pinterest (create an account if you don’t already have one). It’s one of the BEST ways for me to find something new, whether it’s art, fashion, a DIY project or photography. Ugh, so great!

If you’d rather be inspired by something physical, I do recommend checking out local spots, such as gallery exhibitions, museums, artist markets and pop-ups, local boutiques (many carry artisan goods), craft/fabric stores or grab some creative magazines/books from your local book shop.

Here in Denver, I feel like there’s endless things to do to spark creativity!
