Targeting your Market

If you're a small business, solo entrepreneur or a business launching new products or services, studying up on your target market as well as your competitors can be a main key to success with marketing and flourishing!

Get curious and get answers: Who is your ideal client? Where do they live? What do they do? What is their age? Income? Gender? Many of these stats can be found looking at social media analytics... Do you know how to find them?

Do you have a website? Do you know how to find the analytics data and use them to your advantage? These are *super* important pieces of info that can show you what devices people are using to view your site, the sources that "deliver" people to your site (FB, IG, Pinterest...) and also where they are located in the world. All HUGE when trying to find out more about your ideal clients and where to put money when marketing or even just posting!

Seek out other businesses in your market (competitors) and see what they're doing to attract customers/clients. Brainstorm how you can highlight your unique offerings or products and stand out from the crowd!

Study up and take notes -- your business (and bank account) will thank you!
