Dress Well

"Dressing well is a form of good manners."
~Tom Ford

I mean...are we tired of seeing sweats in public yet? Haha!

6 reasons to dress well when leaving your home:

1. Your style (or lack of) expresses who you are! Put together. Organized. Professional. Sloppy. Lazy. Edgy. Funky. Quirky. Creative. First impressions are *everything*, and yes, that is a well-known quote for a reason.

2. A potential employer (or scout) may be scouring the streets looking for a specific look or personality. You just never know! Look at Angus Cloud (Fezco on Euphoria)...found on the streets of NYC, just being himself.

3. It boosts your mood! We can all use a boost, right? If you're leaving your home in wrinkled or dirty sweats, chances are you're not going to feel awesome. Gain extra confidence, be more outgoing (because you don't mind if you're seen) and just feel GOOD when you're dressed nicely.

4. It' a form of self-care. Truly! When something is important, you take care of it. Your appearance matters and YOU matter.

5. Encourages creativity. Learning how to mix-and-match the pieces in your wardrobe is an art! Combining closet staples with more statement-worthy items translates into your own personal style. When someone sends you a link or tags you in a post, "This reminds me of you", you know you have your own personal style / aesthetic. :)

6. When you travel, you get treated better. I've witnessed it first-hand at airports (humorous and eye-opening) and have heard about it from others who have traveled to European countries... One reason -- you look like you have your sh*t together and care about yourself. There are TONS of nice clothing pieces that are also comfy-cozy for traveling!

These points are not materialistic, but more words of encouragement to look / feel your best while presenting your own special style to the world!
